Something For April

I hope everybody remembers to set the clocks forward. I nearly forgot, but my uncle reminded me. I’m in the midst of house-shopping still, only i think we may have found it. If we can make it work, this may be the one. I have to keep it on the DL for the moment, but i’ve already asked for the assistance of the angels, spirits and whomever else shall be in a generous mood, and it seems to all be falling into place. It’s crazy and kind of scary, but what the hell, you only live once, and the great thing about America is that there is no debtors prison.
As far as music, I’m working hard with Jason Lehing on finishing the new solo album. He’s churning out some ferocious mixes of late, and i’m thrilled with the results. As soon as they get mastered, I’ll post a few of them up her for download-ability.
Leslie is under the weather. She’s been sick for a few days, so between trying to nurse her back to health, house shopping, working on the new Josh Rouse album, and mixing my own record, i’m about ready for a nap. The only problem is that it’s all such exciting stuff that when I finally hit the bed, I can’t sleep!
So far, hooray for 2004, but I may be speaking prematurely, because I haven’t done my taxes yet. I will post them here when I do complete them, in part of a new series I will be featuring here on the blog: “Financial Honesty”. It will be primarily involving me being brutally honest about how much something cost, or how much i spent, or how much I have in my bank account, or something like that. Let’s see. That’s something for April!
