What’s New!

Spent a terrific week recording with Tommy Keenum, a good friend and soul-singer. We cut an amazing version of Leon Russel’s “A Song for You” (among other soul classics) at Alex the Great recording in Nashville. Brad Jones runs a tight ship over there and I look forward to working with him again next week on the long-awaited follow up to Warren Zanes’Memory Girls. This is going to be a lot of fun and we have great crew (Jerry Dale McFadden, Brian Owings among others) so we should be allright. I have been really enjoying Mark Knopfler’snew record as well.
In other news, I made some pretty good bar-b-q chicken tonight.

I went to Curt’shouse and heard some new mixes for his upcoming album which were awesome!

Off to see Old Crow Medicine Showtonight at the Station Inn. If you haven’t heard the record that David Rawlings produced you must get your hands on one! It’s fantastic!
They do a great cover of the Bob Dylan song “Wagon Wheel”.
