Amy Correia
We’ve just spent a week working on a new album for my friend and fellow songwriter, Amy Correia. Her last album, Lakeville, is a somewhat autobiographical LP, with some finely crafted portraits in there as well. She shares a love of the Ukulele with me, so we have at least this much in common. We have only written a handful of things, but they hint at a very promising album ahead! In other news, the Bees continue to astound me. We have a gig coming up at the mercy lounge on september 3rd. We also have been working hard on the new album, tenatively titled “High Society”. There is also a small chance the Bees may be scoring a film soon. Cross your fingers for us! Anyhow, there it is. The long and short of it. More soon.
Hey Daniel,
It’s Rich, we met in Bristol, I gave you a copy of the Oxford gig CDR. What did you guys think of it. I hope Josh didn’t go spare!!!
Let me know when you are back in London, I’ll book a tennis court!
Cheers,
Rich

Hey Rich-
Thanks for the bootleg- the band got a huge kick out of it. We don’t normally see them before they arrive on ebay, so thanks for that! It was very well done. I think that sort of thing should be encouraged to a certain extent. I think Josh agrees, but i’m not sure. Anyway, hope all is well, and maybe well get to knock a few tennis balls around some time.

Daniel,
Don’t worry man, I don’t think it will show up on ebay (saying that,.. stranger things have done like setlists!!!). It’s just a souvenir of a great gig for the fans. I think that to some extent sites like DIME are good sources of exposure for artists……anyway….that’s just my opinion.
I’ve been trying to play tennis every week this summer. Need to get back in shape and tennis looks like the best way.
Cheers,
R
