Walked early and didn’t go back to bed. I finally got more than 6 hours and my body felt like it had just returned from a week at a spa. Made omlettes and went home to feed the cats and found my sunglasses! I was so happy I jumped up into the air. I put them in the closet subconciously when I was changing clothes. Nice. So it was a happy ending to a grim tale. Came back to Hopkins and watched some TV and I love watching “Cops”. Read some more Ian McEwan, and what I thought was going to happen didn’t happen so that’s good. Did some laundry and fell asleep and Lex called and wanted to borrow the P-Bass tomorrow. He said the record is done, there’s just one thing he has to fix. Butterfly emailed, and sent some songs and said we should meet Monday AM and she will show us (me and David) what to play. The songs are cool. I only listened to them once, but they have a sort of “James Bond-ish” feeling to them. Sort of “Espionage-Pop”. Is that a genre already? You know, like Portishead sometimes, and Duran Duran (more because of their involvement with the film “View to A Kill”, than the sound). Anyhow, I’m looking forward to it. Watched TV until my eyes bled, “The Man Show” and it can be really funny sometimes.
