Sorry for the hiatus. I went to the Chicago and then to Birmingham, then to Hamptons and then from there to London for the O2 Wireless festival, so I’ve been kind of on the move. I need to figure out how to update this thing from iphone. Anyway, the Hamptons were lovely and I want to go back as soon as humanly possible. It’s paradise there. London was amazing and I got to take the Silver Seas to Wagamama, which was a little miracle in of itself. I love number 36, the Chicken Kare Lomen. The Silver Seas performing in Hyde Park was just so bizarre. I kept thinking to myself: “Is this really happening?” It was really a very enthusiastic crowd. The applause after “Catch Yer Own Train” was quite loud. Weather was beautiful and we saw the Counting Crows and Millard and Jim sounded great. I also got to have a real English breakfast with beans and mushrooms. But we had to leave bright and early Monday morning and the hotel didn’t give us a wake up call, so we got the call when the taxi arrived, so we had to bounce out of bed and throw everything in the suitcase and it’s a miracle I didn’t lose anything, and really, I did. I lost a check that Jason gave me. Long travel day to get home, but I immediately hit the pool, then talked to my parents and collected posh. To bed at 1.
