  10. Damn, DT. That’s pop genius, again. Can’t wait for the record. Let me now what I can do to promote it. We are kindred spirits. I rode a 64 Dream and honeymooned in St. John USVI a few years ago. Keep up the great work!

  11. This is so good. You even modulated right before the break! I need to digest it, listen and figure out what the devil this reminds me of. Oh, the beauty of twitter is that you can tweet out the Title and link to your blog posts, drive traffic to your site and let your fans know when something new like this song is posted. The new Zeitgeist is the ‘Real Time Web’
That thing at the edge of your consciousness is your authentic life saying, “come this way” but don’t worry no one ever follows it, except for Jesus and the Buddha. In another few life times you’ll do it. For now your dharma is to write beautifu, inspiring music.

“You must let go of the life you have planned in order to accept the life that is waiting for you.” – Joseph Campbell (That’s the edge of consciousness bit that no one ever does so they get to come back for a few more life times. It doesn’t matter)

See the beauty of Twitter and the Real time web is that I would have known about this song a week ago instead of now. It energizes the base.

A couple years ago Pete Townshend was doing live webcasts, singing and putting that Who Tour up on the Web for free. It got me re interested in the Who again, who I’d always loved, but had not thought about in years. But then Roger made him take it down because Roger doesn’t have any publishing rights and he only gets paid for performance, so he thought it was stealing from him. But what Roger didn’t get was that it was re energizing their base. And that would have meant more record sales. But now I’ve forgotten about the Who all over again. People only have so my attention span. You’ve got to woo them and try to keep them engaged. That’s what the communications revolution is all about. Cheers.

  12. Daniel I can’t help it, I’m so excited. I’ve been into this Web 2.0 thing for a few years now. I joined Twitter 2 years ago because I listen to all the latest Podcasts from the Valley. Do you know for instance you can stream live video just from like your Mac laptop through services like Kyte, Qik, Ustream, Stickam, Bitgravity. In other words you could stream all of your shows for very little to no cost. How’s that for engagement? You could stream from the Studio if you guys are jamming. Check out what this guy is doing http://live.twit.tv He streams like 9 or 10 shows a week live. Its about tech, but you get the idea. Also, the Holy Profit of Web 2.0 is a guy named Robert Scoble. He’s at http://scobleizer.com. Read his stuff. If you just want to know what its all about, you can just read his stuff and his tweets at http://twitter.com/scobleizer
The Silver Seas need a blog or website that breathes, that engages. It needs to be all over Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, and all the video streaming services. It needs to engage, to woo. There are a billion great bands out there. No matter how good you are its impossible in this era to break out in the old way.
If you want me to help or advise you on how to get you Web 2.0 enabled, let me know, I’ll do it for free. I bet I can even get Scoble to help for free, he’s such a great guy.
