About
I started this blog a few years ago, just keeping track of interesting things, then it became pretty much an everyday thing last year, with the exception of a few days in December where I didn’t write. I am a musician and songwriter, living in Nashville TN, and I have a band called “The Silver Seas.” Thanks for visiting!

Dear Dan,
I live in Birmingham Al. I’d like to see the Silver Seas play (TN or GA) but the website does not show any future dates. Can you please tell me where to look or when and where the band will be playing soon.
best,
Anne

I SWEAR I never read that blog piece that references New Radicals when I posted that comment on your mp3 page. LOL.

Saw you play on tour in UK, with josh Rouse a number of years ago and really enjoyed your guitar playing. Liked the co write on Subtitulo and the your song on the latest David Mead album. Just getting into the Silver Seas, High Society – it’s good stuff!! Are you planning any new work?
Are you playing on Josh Rouse’s new album?
Best wishes from UK

Hi Dan – we’re working on an independent short film in Greensboro, NC, and would like to enquire about obtaining permission to use an excerpt from “Imaginary Girl” in our film. Could you please contact me when you have a moment?
Sincere thanks,

Your song, “My Hometown,” popped up randomly this morning on my computer. I happened to glance at the last.FM page while it was playing, and the “Similar Artists” that it listed were as follows: Wes McDonald, Kate Taylor, Kristen Hall, and the Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos. WHA??!! Thought you’d get a kick from that.

Hello Daniel
I don’t want to get in trouble with Holly
I promised her I would contact you about collaborating on something creative.
We could probably handle that. I would be delighted.
xo

Daniel, I have a question; apologies if you answer it all the time. Is that you singing with Mindy Smith on her “What If The World Stops Turning”?
Thanks!
